Camps that provide a safe week of happy memories, building self worth and confidence, learning life skills, and creating hope for the future, for children who have experienced abuse.

Role and responsibilities

1. Assist with camp set up and pack down.
2. Attend daily staff meetings with Camp Director.
3. Travel to nearest shop/centre for supplies as required.
4. Liaise closely with photographer re printing requirements daily.
5. Arrange times for staff and buddies to make personal purchase requests, and communicate these to all adult personnel.
6. Liaise closely with head cook re kitchen supplies required daily.
7. Notify Camp Director before leaving camp, and on return. NB this is the only person permitted to leave camp outside of emergencies.
8. Check all cabins for laundry each morning.  Wash and dry all soiled clothing/bedding and return to cabin before bed time.
9. Remain at camp for the full duration (errands excepted).
