Camps that provide a safe week of happy memories, building self worth and confidence, learning life skills, and creating hope for the future, for children who have experienced abuse.

Role and responsibilities

1. Plan for a range of age-appropriate craft activities to be available daily at camp.
2. Liaise with Camp Director regarding materials required. Decision for purchase of materials lies with the Trust /Finance Committee.
3. Make a list of materials required, with quantities to be presented to Camp Director at least two months before camp.
4. Set up and pack down the craft area at camp.
5. Take responsibility for activities in craft are, and ensure safety rules are enforced.
6. Ensure safety of children at all times.
7. Complete risk analysis forms for activities provided and make staff/buddies aware of potential risks.
8. Attend daily staff meetings with Camp Director.
9. Remain at camp for the full duration.
